Sixteen:Nine - ANC got its start about 20 years ago as a rotational signage company that primarily serviced the pro sports business, and through the years, ANC has grown into a big tech services provider that’s been putting in the visual systems for many arenas and stadiums. More recently the company has found itself getting into digital out of home media, creating the same kinds of visual spectacle you might see in live sports, but instead in public areas or mass transportation hubs. A lot more than a conventional AV systems integrator, ANC is doing a ton of R&D and using product that will do things like light up the whole 360-degree view of an area with sync’d content. You might think, “Well that’s not all that new,” but ANC’s CTO Mark Stross explains why what he’s cooked up is different.

Digital Signage Expo (DSE) has announced the independently judged winners of its APEX Awards for 2018 at the 14th Annual APEX Awards Ceremony, Wednesday, March 28 at the Renaissance Hotel. MTA Arts & Design was honored with the Bronze APEX award for the "The Fluid", which was displayed at Fulton Center in New York City. ANC helped install the largest integrated digital signage network in a single transportation hub, which was used to display "The Fluid". more

Forbes - The home of Texas Longhorns Football has been in use since 1924, and former athletic director Perrin, who was replaced by Del Conte in December 2017, acknowledged the fan experience issues came to light immediately after he was hired in 2015. Perrin quickly created a group to look into what could be done, knowing it wouldn't happen in time for the 2016 season. However, by 2017 the Longhorns had partnered with technology service provider ANC and opened the season with the 4th largest video display in college football and sound system upgrades throughout the entire stadium.

Cleveland.com - The penthouse at Quicken Loans Arena is not your typical penthouse. Don't expect swanky digs, plush surroundings with Champagne flutes. But it's Steven LaClair's domain. His title is "Lead Field Representative, Cleveland," but he really is a director. He's a fan, but he doesn't scream. He's relaxed, but attentive. At a recent Cleveland Monsters game, LaClair keeps one eye on the game, his left hand on a computer keyboard and his right hand hovering over the home-goal-horn button.
